When you purchase from RetroLicious, we offer a number of options to get your goodies as quickly and safely as possible.

Collection in Person
All our customers are welcome to view / collect their purchase from out 2500sq ft showroom based in Media City, Salford Quays, 2 minutes from the BBC and Lowry Centre. Customers wishing to collect will need to let us know which day they will be coming so that we can have everything ready for collection on time.


Local & National Delivery – Furniture and Larger Items
To ensure that the mid century furniture you buy from us arrives in the same condition leaves our warehouse and to ensure correct packaging and securing techniques are used on route, we use our own in-house dedicated team for all deliveries, all of whom are trained to the highest standards of care and handling of retro and vintage furniture.

We have regular runs throughout the country and will aim to book you onto the first available date that one of our teams are in your location however this may be during working hours so we ask that you have someone available at the times we will be passing your home for delivery.  We always try and work with you on the best date for delivery where available however our deliveries are planned to ensure the best possible route and as such we will be able to give you a 2 hour time window indication only.

To keep delivery costs as low as possible, we regularly have single crew teams so if you are unable to assist with delivery, please let us know at the time of ordering and we can try and book you in for a 2 man delivery team however please note that this may result in a slight delay in dispatching your purchase.

We deliver to London / South weekly, mainly on Saturdays to optimal client convenience, please be aware that our routes fill up very quickly but we will always get you on the first available slot. Please note that our routes are booked 2 weeks in advance due to the volume of deliveries we make.


Local & National Delivery – Smaller Items

Where your purchase is for smaller items such as retro lampshades, cushions, ornaments and accessories, these will normally be sent in double walled reinforced cardboard boxes with appropriate internal packaging such as bubble wrap, bubble pushes or packing popcorn and will be sent via MyHermes, Parcelforce or Yodel.

As such we will once booked issue you with tracking information so that you can manage the delivery direct with the carrier.  Most carriers will not provide timed deliveries or estimates however if you are not available at the time of delivery, they will leave you a card with contact details to allow you to ring them to reschedule at your convenience.  We will be unable to assist with tracking or managing the delivery once the item has left our warehouse.


International Delivery
We do offer international delivery options using our network of international couriers however we would ask all overseas buyers to contact us as soon as they are able to discuss the options and process available before making any purchase in order that we can get accurate quotations.

Where your purchase is a sideboard or other large piece of furniture, you can opt for standard double wrap cardboard packaging or upgrade to the premium custom built crate option. Please ask us for pricing.


International Bulk Purchasing

We are highly experienced international shippers and have been providing bulk container services for our clients for many years.  We regularly ship 20ft / 40ft containers all over the world as well as individual pieces, please contact us for further details of how we can help you with multiple purchases and the discounts we can apply.

Please note that our international shipping is only for items purchased from us.


Own / Other Courier Services
We are more than happy for you to arrange your own courier to collect the item on your behalf however any items collected by courier must be collected during our opening hours and must be organised in advance. We can either package your item for you or your own courier can do this however if you require us to package for you there will be a small charge to cover the cost of materials.

Where your own courier is used, we can not be held liable for any damage caused in transit as although we make every effort to ensure that your item is packaged as securely as possible, we have no control over how that item is stored or transported once it leaves our premises where it is not handled by a courier in our own network. We recommend you use only experienced mid century furniture couriers to ensure safety and protection of your lovely retro items.
