Mid century modern furniture…

It’s hard to get through a TV show or commercial break that doesn’t have some kind of nod to stunning designs of the sixties, with a G Plan coffee table here or a teak astro table there or even a sneaky Hans Wegner chair tucked into a corner. Designers the world over are styling homes with perfect, retro vintage statement pieces and West German ceramics, to achieve a mix of modern with a nod and wink to the accomplished mid century modern furniture designers who broke boundaries and pushed the envelope to bring us some of the most truly stunning mid century furniture around today.

This is very much here to stay. If you don’t already have a piece in your home, it may be worth making some space, but you could be a dedicated mad men like us and move to a bigger house to fit more in!
